FOCUS: Hands Helping Children, an affiliate of North Valley Community Foundation a non-profit public charity, is a wholly volunteer women's group serving the rural northern California communities of Biggs, Gridley, Live Oak, and Richvale. FOCUS' revenues are generated from Membership donations, Angel Member contributions, and fun-raising events. Funds are distributed to local children's activities and programs which support literacy, positive social interactions, music, and sports. Besides financial support, FOCUS members gracefully donate their time, labor, and supplies to facilitate FOCUS' goals.
FOCUS meets the 1st Thursday of the month from 10:00 AM - Noon, September through June at various locations. (Please consult the "Events & Meetings" tab for exact dates and locations.)
